New Brunswick RCMP have launched a criminal investigation into
the deaths of two young boys killed by a python that reportedly
slithered through ventilation shafts after it escaped from a
reptile store, though police say it's too early to determine
whether charges will be laid.

Police confirmed that the store owner also resides in the
upstairs apartment in Campbellton, N.B. where the two boys, aged
five and seven, were found dead Sunday morning.

Reptile Ocean owner Jean-Claude Savoie was hosting the two boys,
aged five and seven, for a sleepover with his own son.

Savoie reportedly found the two boys Sunday morning and called
911, police said. His son was in another room and was unharmed,
police say.

Campbellton RCMP Cpl. Alain Tremblay said police are in the
first stage of a criminal investigation.

"I can tell you it's a criminal investigation right now to
determine if any criminal act is responsible for the death of
the two boys."

RCMP said the snake is an African rock python, as long as 4.5
metres and weighing approximate 45 kg. The non-venomous snake
typically kills by constricting its victims.

The RCMP released the ages of the two boys, but have not yet
identified the pair. Their mother lives nearby.

It requires a formidable degree of stupidity to decide that a news
item which has immediately sparked arguments to the effect that exotic
animal laws in Canada are overly lenient and inconsistent is off topic
in Canadian newsgroups.
Tell us if it was spammed to non-relevant groups. Or would you know
when a topic is being spammed to non-relevant groups, being the spammer
that you are?

How would that make it not relevant to Canadian groups?

I guess if they started out in non-relevant groups, they got returned to
those same non-relevant groups.
YOU purposely cross post them into can.politics. I don't cross-post

No I don't. I have never yet added can.politics to any thread while

Yes I do. You harass countless numbers of strangers with pointless
blank messages so that some will get pissed off enough to return the
favour.

They (majority are Americans) send off-topic messages into can.politics
- but that's not harassment - that's okay by you.
When they get that off-topic, spam back, they're being harassed. Is
that about it, Dobranski?

Maybe some of those harassing spammers have a problem with their IP
rules and temper control, wouldn't you say?

Fuck off. You do more spamming than most posters to can.politics.

The reactions to your counterproductive strategy are in can.politics.
And really, it doesn't make sense to expect readers of other newsgroups
to have more respect for can.politics than you have for theirs.

But you know, there was a time when I usually scrupulously policed the
newsgroup line and removed any group I thought wasn't on topic. Over
the years though it seemed increasingly pointless, and you helped me see
it that way. But I'll make you a deal. I'll go back to doing that if
you give up encouraging off-topic posting by streaming dozens of orders
to people in other newsgroups who have no reason to obey and due to the
innate contrariness of human nature actually start crap posting in
reaction to your own crap posting. You will finally have accomplished
something with it apart from encouraging as well as committing off-topic
posting.

YOU "kill-file the idiot". You say you've done it a dozen times,
Dobranski, and yet can't refrain from responding to, or talking about
"the idiot" ad nauseum.

What is your problem? - don't know how to killfile or don't know how to
control your nasty impulse to attack?
